Blood Glucose Testing for Multiple Patients

The Accu-Chek Instant blood glucose meter with the Accu-Chek Instant test strips is suitable for patient self-testing and for professional use.

In clinical and home care settings where one blood glucose meter may be used to test multiple patients, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Follow your local health authorities guidelines for multiple patient testing to help you minimise this risk.

The Accu-Chek Instant meter kit includes the Accu-Chek FastClix† finger pricker and lancet drums in the box. The Accu-Chek FastClix finger pricker is intended for patient self-monitoring by an individual person only. This finger pricker is therefore not suitable for professional use in healthcare facilities and institutions.
